Your Data Is Safe.

This policy explains what data the Dent Loyalth app and clinic panel collect, how it is used, how long it is kept, and how it can be deleted.

Dent Loyalth ("we", "the platform") is a patient loyalty program for dental clinics. We provide a mobile app where patients track points and rewards, and a web panel where clinics manage the program. This policy applies to both products. We respect your privacy and process data in line with applicable data protection law, including Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

Important distinction: the party that enters patient data and runs the loyalty program is the dental clinic you visit. Dent Loyalth provides the technical infrastructure that lets clinics process this data securely (data processor). The clinic acts as data controller for its own patients' data.

2Data We Collect

We collect only what is needed to deliver the service:

  • Identity: first name, last name
  • Contact: phone number, email, city
  • Program data: point balance, earned/redeemed rewards, campaign interactions
  • Appointment data: appointment dates and completion status (no treatment details or medical diagnosis is collected)
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, session and log records (for security)

We do not collect medical data

Dent Loyalth is a loyalty program; it does not store diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions or health-condition data. Collected data is used only for points, rewards and appointment reminders.

3How We Use Data

  • Running the loyalty program; managing points and rewards
  • Appointment reminders and notifications (SMS / WhatsApp / in-app)
  • Creating your account and securing sign-in
  • Providing customer support
  • Meeting legal obligations
  • Improving the security and quality of the service

Your data is never used for advertising, use-based data mining or profiling, and is never sold to data brokers.

4Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • With your clinic: the clinic running the program accesses its own patients' data.
  • With our infrastructure providers: hosting, database and SMS/WhatsApp notification services, only as needed to operate the service and under confidentiality obligations.
  • With public authorities: when legally required.

5Retention

Your data is kept while your account is active and for any mandatory retention periods required by law. When you delete your account or the program ends, data with no legal retention requirement is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

6Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time:

  • In the app: go to Profile → Settings → Delete My Account in the patient mobile app. Deletion starts after your confirmation.
  • By email: send your request to destek@dentloyalth.com.

When your account is deleted, your personal data — including identity, contact, points, rewards and appointment history — is erased. Only records that must be kept by law may be retained for the required period, after which they are also deleted. Requests are completed within 30 days at the latest.

Real deletion, not just deactivation

"Delete My Account" does not merely disable your account; it permanently erases your personal data.

7Security

All data is transferred over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access is restricted through authorization and we apply ongoing security measures. While no system is 100% secure, we use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data.

8Children's Privacy

Dent Loyalth is not directed at children. Patients under 18 may be enrolled only with parental/guardian consent and under the clinic's responsibility. We do not knowingly collect data from children without consent.

9Your Rights

Under KVKK Article 11 you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction, deletion or destruction, and object to outcomes of automated analysis. You can exercise these rights via the contact channels below.

10Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes we will notify you via the app or email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
